Our first shoot was today and despite the freezing cold, it went really well!
Luck was on our side as we found a perfect clearing in the woods which looked like a base camp (abandoned by the group of friends as the weather turned horrific) containing a ruined chair, bench and other mysterious, rusted objects (it really did look very creepy which is perfect!).
We followed the shooting schedule very closely and as a result we finished up very quickly. When we had finished shooting and viewed our footage, we made a note of things we would like to redo as they didn't turn out as planned. We will now add this extra scene into our Sunday shooting schedule.
Overall, I am extremely pleased with how our first shoot went... It didn't even rain!
I can't wait until Sunday so that we can get the shooting done and start editing in the warmth of the media suite!
